Tracking the Success of Your Online Press Release
You have to be able to analyze what the reason behind a particular press release’s success was, so that you are able to replicate the success in the future by using a service called ‘Google Alerts’ where Google will alert you as soon as a particular phrase is published in a news story on the internet.
So by putting the title of your press release as your alert phrase in Google Alerts, Google will send you an email with a link to that story as soon as it finds it and if your title is unique you should not receive any incorrect alerts.

Now that word cup 2010 is drawing to a close with only Uruguay vs Germany and Holland vs Spain remaining I am sorry to say that word cup 2010 could go down as one of the poorest, football wise, with so many of the worlds great players disappointing eg Rooney, Messi, Ronaldo, Torres, Kaka etc.

I will get the ball rolling by saying my favourite World Cup Finals has to be Italia 90. The summer of 1990 was unforgettable, and not just for the great sunshine. It was the first World Cup Finals I saw and it kicked off my love of football which continues to this day.
There was so much hype surrounding the tournament. There were legends like Maradona, Van Basten, Ruud Gullit, Klinsmann, Baggio, Carlos Valderamma (remember THAT hair?), Lineker, John Barnes, and of course the man who is famously known as Gazza.
Italia 90 was a wonderful blend of flair, passion, and new age techniques. With new computer graphics used with TV footage, it reflected the art and culture of a modern new era through the use of brands such as Ferrari, Lamborghini, and the late Pavarottis’ world cup song.
It was arguably the first time when a World Cup Finals had truly used marketing techniques and merchandising, that are now common place in today’s world of football (I still have the Italia 90 sticker album, and novelty Italia 90 football:).
Whilst Diego Maradona had once again single handed, got Argentina to the final, and the Germans were using their characteristic efficient footballing style to great effect, the Republic of Ireland and England were also making a massive impact on the tournament.
The English teams effort, skill and spirit of 1990 showed the world that English football had a new spark of life. England may have suffered a heartbreaking semi final exit, but they had made a mark on world footballing stage once again, which is still recognised to this day.
